Re the mass shooting at the US school, why do these crazy folk do it? Surely all schools now have sufficient security to keep the perpetrators out?

    • Johann Olivier says:

Nope. Almost impossible. This shooter blew a hole through a secure door & killed the custodian on the way in. Soft targets, especially for determined nutcases carrying assault rifles. But then, the elected lunatics keep voting for guns-for-all-at-any time. North Carolina’s legislature overrides a governor’s veto to allow handguns to be purchased like candy bars. Vote for idiots and idiotic outcomes follow. It is somewhat annoying when everyone is aghast at these horror shows when they voted the morons in.

Long ago, before the shootings started and I was still a young man, I visited the USA for the 1st time. I had to show my passport that I was over 21 to have a beer with my dinner at a restaurant. But across the street I could go and buy automatic weapons with no questions asked! Now the chickens have come to roost with the strong Republican Party gun lobby…
