The forgotten grave of one of three children who died in the Spanish Flu Epidemic (1918 to 1922) a century ago. The children belonged to police officers stationed at Sunnyside, near Coleford in KwaZulu-Natal. The remains of the old police station can be seen in the middle distance. Who would have thought that a pandemic like ours would have struck families in such a remote, beautiful place.
